There are 60,000 miles of blood vessels throughout your entire body, if laid out that's enough to go around the entire world 2.5 times. It also has the capacity to feel deep, deep love. February is national heart month and to protect our hearts we must nourish our bodies with foods that are loaded with polyphenols (plant compounds that are beneficial to the cardiovascular system). Foods that are red and purple contain higher amounts of polyphenols like raspberries, pomegranates, cherries and red cabbage. Increase your intake of polyphenols this month so your heart can continue to do all of those amazing things

Raspberry Lemon Smoothie
- 10 oz of plant based milk
- 1 cup of frozen raspberries
- 1/2 cup of frozen pineapple
- 1/2 of a frozen banana
- 1 tbsp of chia seeds
- 1 tbsp of plant based sweetener of choice
- 1/2 of a lemon juiced
Blend all ingredients and enjoy.
